Conformal Coating
Conformal coating is a process of applying a thin polymer film that is engineered to fit the contours of a printed circuit board in order to protect the board's components. The advantages of the technology are the protection of electronic circuits against moisture, dust, chemicals and extreme temperature, whose exposure to an unclean atmosphere may cause damage or failure of the electronics.
When electronics must withstand harsh environments and additional protection is needed, Ottawa Industrial Coating Solutions can coat the board assemblies.
How are our conformal coating products certified?
Our coating products are suitable for general printed circuit applications.
1A33 do not contain free isocyanates and fluoresce under UV light for testing
goals. Certifications are basic but not limited to MIL-I-46058C, IPC-CC-830B and RoHS 2011/65/EC.
We at Ottawa ICS do not compromise on quality and standard. All of our coating products undergo tests and quality control at the highest standards, including those of the BSI, UL and IEC.
